Robert Scott, company founder, began offering budget priced bus and cruises to destinations throughout the southeast about five years ago as a way to offer travel to people who might not ordinarily view vacations as affordable. Beginning by planning trips for a small network of friends and family in Tampa, Scott Travel Service has now expanded to include trips for church groups, social organizations and a host of "regulars" who just want to get away for a little while.

Destinations include "party towns" in New Orleans and Atlanta, casino hotspots in Biloxi, Mississippi, short shopping trips to Sawgrass Mall in Ft. Lauderdale, and other favorite getaway locations in Key West and South Beach in Miami where "maxing and relaxing" is the order of the day.
